Dr Sylvia Andrew-Starkey is a senior specialist in emergency medicine and urgent care medicine. She has previously served as the Director of Emergency and as Director of emergency medicine training at Caboolture Hospital, and also as the Acting Director of Emergency at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Biography

Dr Tony Bayliss is a GP and has been a practice owner in the West Moreton region of Queensland for the past 9 years. He is presently Chair of DDWMPHN and the PHN Co-operative as well as a Member of the RACGP Queensland Faculty and the RACGP REC - Funding and Health System Reform. He is currently completing an MSc Public Health (Health Services Management, Health Economics) at the LSHTM. Prior to commencing his medical career, Tony work in Corporate Finance for a (then) Big-5 accounting firm. He maintains a strong interest in both the clinical aspects of primary health care and the decision-making processes that underpin evidence-informed health policy.

Biography

Dr Alan Cameron trained as a GP, but for the last 20 years has practiced exclusively in skin cancer, in the Brisbane suburbs.
He holds the title of Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College Australasia.
He is a co-author of Harald Kittler’s textbook of dermatoscopy, and around 25 peer reviewed papers, including the Chaos and Clues, and Prediction Without Pigment algorithms.
Alan has lectured at every level, from small local groups of GPs all the way to invited presentations at the largest international dermatoscopy conferences.

Biography

Dr Aaron Chambers is the Chair of the RACGP Queensland Faculty Education Committee. He has a passion for health system improvement and GP advocacy, having been a GP since 2006. He co-founded Growlife Medical in 2017 with his midwife and paediatric nurse partner, which was awarded the 2024 RACGP Australian General Practice of the year in recognition of their leading model of GP-led multidisciplinary team care. Aaron loves family practice, including paediatrics and obstetric care and is the GP Liaison Officer for Children's Health Queensland. He continues to consult regularly, and is a healthcare system innovator. In addition to founding the Growlife Medical group, he is also a co-founder of Allergy First, Cub Care Paediatric Urgent Care and Telehealth Platform GPConsults.
