This highly interactive workshop will cover some of the educational highlights developed and presented by RACGP Specific Interests.
It will provide a deeper dive into some of our most popular webinars in antenatal and postnatal care, dermatology, and psychological medicine. The day will provide an opportunity for you to learn through case-based discussion and peer interaction.
You'll be led by subject matter experts in the following discussions:
Session 1 - 9:00am - 10:30am.The holistic management of patients with melanoma.
Presenter: Dr Jeremy Hudson
Session 2 - 11.00am - 12.30pm. How to use single-session counselling with patients experiencing mental distress.
Presenter: Dr Cathy Adronis
Session 3 - 1:30pm - 3:00pm.Preconception care and new approaches to antenatal and postnatal care.
Presenter: Dr Wendy Burton
This activity is approved for CPD in the 2023–25 triennium – 1.5 hours of educational activity (EA) and 3 hours of reviewing performance (RP).

9:00 AM - 10:30 AMBiography
Dr Jeremy Hudson is a Senior Lecturer in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery for James Cook University. He is also the Clinical Director of the North Queensland Skin Centre, a research based clinic in Townsville, and has a strong interest in medical education and improving clinical guidelines. He has spent most of his career as a rural and remote GP before specialising in skin cancer.
