Details
Assessing skin rashes within the community: this workshop will cover the most common skin rashes encountered by patients and the impact this has on their quality of life. It will cover a range of skin rashes and the typical presentation and features to distinguish between them. General practitioners will understand the significance of early detection and management of skin rashes.

Biography
Dr Ritu Gupta, Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists is a specialist dermatologist with an extensive skill set across cosmetic, medical and surgical dermatology.
She graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Sydney and was awarded a PhD for ground-breaking research into Vitamin D and the skin. She is a regular presenter at conferences and has a keen interest in educating the general practitioner community and the public on dermatology topics.
Dr Gupta works in private practice at Platinum Dermatology Skin Specialists and Dr Refresh, in Ultimo and provides a wide range of services including medical and surgical dermatology but also the full range of cosmetic dermatology for face and also body. These include treatment of rosacea, acne scarring, pigmentation, rejuvenation, pelvic floor strengthening for incontinence, and muscle building and fat reduction to improve core muscle strength to reduce back pain and improve physical well-being. She is delighted to be able to manage a patient’s medical problems and skin malignancies, and also to be able to address and manage their cosmetic concerns.
