Background
Leadership development for physicians is important for career growth, with doctors expected to be leaders of clinical and administrative teams while advocating for their patients and spearheading health education. Ironically, leadership development is lacking during the formative years of medical school and residency education. In addition, after formal medical education graduation, most physicians let skill development sink to the bottom of the priority list, sacrificing it for clinical knowledge and the burden of their practice. The ability to become a leader has to be able to advocate for ourselves and colleagues or advance the profession overall.
Project
