Overview
Pre-conference workshop 4
Details
For GP supervisors and medical educators the development of learning plans can be a mystery and the development of teaching sessions a burden.
In this workshop learning plans will be made easy by connecting them to the day to day work of GP teachers in their interactions with learners.
This will be followed by working together through a method of planning medical teaching on any topic to any of your learners. Equipped with this approach participants will leave the workshop able to develop an effective teaching plan in 10 minutes or less; in fact, each participant will do this very thing before the workshop ends!
Takeaways
1. To develop a practical way to create meaningful learning plans with learners.
2. To practise an approach to developing teaching plans on any topic relevant to your work as a GP teacher.
3. To enjoy shared work with like-minded colleagues and make your work as GP teachers a bit easier, a bit more effective and a bit more enjoyable.
