For DermCert 24

  • Delves et al (2017). Roitt’s Essential Immunology. 13th edition, Wiley Blackwell; Pages 4-10 and 12-13.  (RACGP members can request these relevant pages from the RACGP John Murtagh Library.)

For DermCert 25

  • Rosendahl, C & Marozava, A. Dermatoscopy and Skin Cancer: A handbook for hunters of skin cancer and melanoma, Scion Publishing, 2019

Please note: you have three years to complete the full certificate. Workshops are held in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane (dependent on COVID19 restrictions). The clinical attachment cannot take place until all online courses and workshops have been completed.

Workshop

Register to attend the 2 day Dermatological surgery workshop and the half day Introduction to dermoscopy workshop.  (Please note that the Introduction to dermoscopy workshop is not a compulsory requirement to complete the Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology).  You will be sent an email when the workshop dates and venues are confirmed. 


IMPORTANT - DermCert 4: Practical procedures in dermatology is a prerequisite for the Dermatological surgery workshop. If you have not yet completed DermCert 4, complete them as a package and save $390. If you select the package options, please ensure you do not select DermCert 4 in the list above.

Clinical experience

⁠This clinical experience course consists of a 3 day clinical attachment. You can only undertake this course after you have successfully completed all 25 online modules and the Dermatological surgery workshop. International doctors are not eligible to register for the clinical placement as Medical Board Australia (AHPRA) registration is mandatory.
