Biography

Dr Amandeep Hansra is a GP with over 18 years of clinical experience and one of Australia's leading digital health and innovation experts. She is currently the Australian Digital Health Agency's Chief Clinical Adviser. Amandeep is also a co-deputy chair of the RACGP's Special Interest Group in Digital Health and also sits on the board and council of AMA NSW. She founded Creative Careers in Medicine, an organisation, with over 25,000 members, that advocates for professional freedom to explore creative career paths in medicine. Amandeep also co-founded Australian Medical Angels, an investment syndicate with over 25 healthtech investments. Amandeep serves as a director on the boards of various national and international organisations, including ACHSI, Molemap, Healthengine and Healthicare. She is a Fellow of the RACGP and Australian Institute of Digital Health and is former CEO and Medical Director of Telstra's telehealth service. She has a Bachelor of Medicine (honours) from the University of Newcastle, a Global Executive MBA from the University of Sydney, a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University, the Australia Certificate in Civil Aviation Medicine, is a Certified Health Informatician of Australia and has completed the Company Directors Course through the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in Biomedical Informatics and Digital Health at the University of Sydney.

Biography

Dr Ramya Raman is a  specialist general practitioner and Director of The Garden Family Medical Clinic (Piara Waters) in Perth, WA, with a focus on women’s and children’s health, especially perinatal wellbeing. She received the 2020 Aspire Award to present her postnatal recovery research at WONCA Asia Pacific. As Discipline Head of General Practice at The University of Notre Dame’s School of Medicine, Fremantle, she promotes GP training and education. She has also served as a clinical supervisor and examiner for RACGP. Ramya has published research in peer-reviewed journals and was RACGP WA’s 2020 GP of the Year. Currently, Ramya is the Chair of RACGP WA, she was also selected as a delegate for the Australian Indian Youth Dialogue in 2023, a McKinsey Raising Leaders Forum scholar in 2022, and awarded the 2024 AMA WA Advocate of the Year.
