60min clinical workshop | Telehealth has become essential in Australian General Practice post-COVID-19, presenting unique consulting challenges. Our team is developing educational modules funded by an RACGP grant, focusing on communication strategies. This workshop will use case studies to foster discussions among GPs, reflecting on their experiences and identifying key challenges and learnings.

- Explore Telehealth challenges through interactive small group case studies,
- Identify skills and knowledge required for more complex Telehealth consultations
- Discuss ways to address learning gaps for GPs in relation to Telehealth.

The “sticky” side of Telehealth - learning through “tricky” case studies
Biography
Dr. Stephen Martin is a GP, early career researcher and medical educator in the Academic Unit of General Practice at the Australian National University. He is an investigator in an RACGP Education Research Grant looking at the educational needs of GPs to deliver safe and effective Telehealth. He helps to lead GP teaching for medical students at ANU and works as an ECT visitor and supervisor for the RACGP.
