60min clinical presentation | The 2023 Practitioner’s Toolkit for Managing Menopause provides an accessible desk-top tool for clinicians caring for women at mid-life. It was developed using a systematic search for guidelines, position and consensus statements pertaining to menopause, along with a further search of peer-reviewed literature to identify information gaps. Information is summarized in a series of algorithms.
The presentation will step through the algorithms, with a focus on how the Toolkit can be used in daily practice by GPs.

Biography
Karen Magraith graduated from Flinders University and worked in Darwin and Adelaide before moving to Hobart. Karen has a longstanding interest in menopause and is a Past President of the Australasian Menopause Society. She has written or contributed to a number of peer reviewed publications and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Tasmania.
