Biography
Dr Andrew Baird is a General Practitioner with 30 years’ experience in rural and metropolitan general practice. Andrew has been with Avant since 2021. He is a Medical Adviser and Claims Manager. He has worked as a medical educator on the GP training program, and as a clinical tutor at Finders University and University of Melbourne. Andrew’s medical and GP training were in Scotland. He also did training in GP Anaesthetics and GP Obstetrics.

Biography
Tracy has more than 24 years experience in medico-legal complaint management and litigation. She is responsible for identifying and responding to emerging medico-legal issues which impact Avant’s members. Tracy is an experienced presenter, regularly presenting at educational seminars and is actively involved in the medico-legal community in Queensland. She is a key member of the Avant team exploring issues relating to the medico-legal risks associated with AI in healthcare.
