Dr Lara Roeske is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a professional background spanning more than 20 years. Lara has worked in advisory roles to key stakeholders, on steering committees and guideline working parties, including as a member of the Cancer Council Australia Cervical Cancer Screening Guidelines Working Party, and a member of the self-collection implementation committee, and prior to that the self-collection advisory committee. She is Chair of RACGP Specific Interests, and she was appointed Chair of the RACGP Board of Directors in 2022. She also advises the health minister as a member of the BBV and STIs ministerial advisory committee. Lara has a particular interest in Women’s Health and cervical cancer prevention and works with the ACPCC as a Senior Medical Educator.
