Biography
Dr Bruce Willett is a GP and practice owner in Victoria Point in Redland City, south of Brisbane, who is committed to grassroots general practice and medical education.
He has been on the board of General Practice Supervisors Australia (GPSA) since 2010, was Chair of GPSA from 2015 to 2016, and Chair of the GP Supervisor Liaison Officer Network from 2010 to 2015, and has been an RACGP examiner since 1994.
Bruce has been the Supervisor Liaison Officer for General Practice Training Queensland/Central and Southern Queensland Training Consortium (GPTQ/CSQTC) since 2008 and also worked as a medical educator for GPTQ.

Dr James Brown is the RACGP Principal Medical Education Advisor. He is also a GP supervisor and practice owner in Gippsland. He lives on a small farm with his wife. He has been a director of training and has led a large number of educational research projects with a focus on GP vocational training, particularly in-practice learning.

Vanessa is a member of the RACGP Rural Education Committee and has a passion for rural General Practice education. She has been interested and involved in education since her own experience as a rural GP registrar and VMO in an MMM4 town in NSW as well as seeing the inequality of health access for her own family in an MMM5 location.
Vanessa currently works as the Director of Education and Training for GP Synergy and has recently moved from Sydney to Newcastle. Her partner has dreams of returning to remote Australia where he spent 20 years and she is working up to having the confidence to make that final leap.

Paul oversees GPEx’s team of medical educators, leading our organisation’s focus on training excellence and innovation that sets us apart in our field.
He also provides leadership to medical educators nationally through additional governance roles.
A practising GP who has worked across metropolitan and rural South Australia, Paul has a strong background in medical education, previously holding the positions of Director of GP Training at Flinders Medical Centre and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
He is a Quality Assurance examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, has completed a Masters in Clinical Education, and holds postgraduate qualifications in Dermatology and Reproductive Health.
