Session summary
Doctors' mental health and wellbeing is always at the forefront of general practice. During this pandemic it has proven to be of even greater importance to look after oneself and others, such as your family, friends and colleagues.

Biography
Dr Aadhil Aziz is a GP located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and immediate past Chair of the Victoria New fellows Committee. Since completing his degree in MD in Semmelweis University during 2001, he has acquired a DFM (at RCGP), ECMFG as well as FRACGP (at RACGP).
Dr Aadhil Aziz is especially passionate about preventive medicine, chronic disease management, mental health, skin cancer, women’s and men’s health, children and adolescent health and weight management and preventative care.
Moreover, he is an avid proponent of Telehealth - so as to enable safe healthcare access to rural and remote communities as well as people who find it difficult to find the time to physically present to the GP and therefore works with key players in the space.
Dr Aadhil Aziz sits on the Vic Council as a part of this as well as the National New Fellows Committee. Additionally, he is an Examiner with the RACGP for Fellowship Examinations.
Outside of his practice, Dr Aadhil Aziz is also a musician - singer/songwriter who plays the guitar, piano and drums. His other hobbies include chess, snowboarding, playing badminton, hiking and mountain biking. He loves film, photography, is a foodie and loves to travel.

Biography
Shawn Goldberg is passionate in the prevention and treatment of compassion fatigue and burnout. He is the Director and Principal Psychologist at Mind Up with vast experience in areas of abuse, trauma, drug and alcohol and general mental health issues. Shawn thrives from supporting workers in the helping field faced with stress and trauma. He provides training that is dynamic, thought provoking and practical. Shawn shares his expertise and knowledge with respect and openness.
