Education Research Grant successes and challenges: activity, findings, outputs and impacts (2015-2021)

This study reviews the findings of Education Research Grants (ERGs) on GP training in an effort to synthesise the evidence base and identify areas for further research.
Biography
Dr Vasiliadis has extensive experience conducing social and public health research and evaluations in Australia. She is a research methodologist of qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods designs. She has designed and conducted many projects in academic, government, hospital and NGO settings. Her work is published in respected academic journal articles of the field of research, and has directly influenced state and federal public health policy and service provision.

Scott is a GP medical educator based in Brisbane. He works as lead medical educator - education for General Practice Training Queensland. He is interested in educational research which contributes to maximising registrar learning from the apprenticeship based model of GP training.

Jane Smith has been a GP academic and supervisor for 25+ years. Currently she heads General Practice at Bond University, and is on RACGP Queensland council. She was the academic lead in this project, and has participated in, and co-authored many different research projects, in general practice and medical education.

Biography
Ben is a research assistant at GP Synergy currently working on the ERG-CTV and ReCEnT projects. Ben began working at GP Synergy in 2020 after completing his Bachelor of Psychology (hons) in 2019 at the University of Newcastle.
