Summary

This small group learning session will focus on how various technological innovations (such as telehealth resources, clinical apps, video conferencing, online training, and online networking) can be harnessed to advance rural general practice. Participants will be encouraged to explore how they currently use technology and how they can further expand their use of appropriate technological innovations to not only improve patient care, but to also support ongoing training, facilitate the development of networks, and support self-care. They will also learn about the latest applications of technology in rural general practice as well as the medico-legal issues that need to be considered.
