Dr Alecia Macrow BMBS FRACGP
Founder, Thrive Family Practice | RACGP SA Faculty Council Member
Dr Alecia Macrow is a specialist GP and founder of Thrive Family Practice, an award-winning, GP-owned clinic in Glenelg South with a strong focus on interdisciplinary, lifestyle-based care. With a background in science communication and a special interest in chronic disease, endometriosis and pelvic pain, Alecia is passionate about reimagining primary care to be proactive, team-based and patient-centred.
She leads one of Australia’s federally funded Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinics, pioneering innovative approaches such as nurse-led care planning, case conferencing, and shared medical appointments to improve outcomes in complex care. Alecia also sits on the RACGP SA Faculty Council and is actively involved in advocacy and policy around sustainable, high-quality models of general practice.
