Title: The Real Cost of Getting Paid - Fixing the New Flow of Funds
Outline: As the healthcare industry adapts to the new flow of funds and resulting operational pressures, choosing the right financial infrastructure has never been more important. In this session, Michael Broadbent discusses their organisation’s decision to implement CommBank Smart Distributions — CommBank Health’s innovative approach to automating payment flows and reconciliation between doctors and practices. Joined by Omaya Robinson, the pair will explore what led to the decision, how they evaluated risk, what success looks like, and why now was the right time. Presentation 2 I 10.15 - 10.25 I Clinimetrix
Title:A side bar that provides critical clinical patient information from the Clinimetrix team
Outline: CMx Side Bar is a new tool from Clinimetrix and adds to the already significant benefits of the product for managing patients’ clinical outcomes. Clinimetrix has been in use for over 9 years and over the past 3 years we have offered the product to the wider market. Until now the software has been targeted to one or two key users in a practice to allow for data analytics across clinical and financial services. They then choose what to offer their practitioners or clinical teams. CMx Side Bar changes the model and allows any GP to have fast and accurate reporting on key clinical information for each patient. This includes checking for opportunities to bill CDM or HA items with PRODA confirmations. In addition, it reports recent diagnosis, scripts, abnormal pathology results and provides a list of suggested tests for the patient with just one click. CMx Side Bar was built with the input of GPs and preventative health nurses and ensures that every practitioner has a fast and accurate way to see important data from the previous consults in seconds to allow practitioners to provide the best outcomes for patients.
