During the session the presenters will demonstrate how to seamlessly integrate and embed CPD into existing practice activities to enhance value for the practitioners and improve practice sustainability through quality improvement.

Learning Outcomes: • Identify the value of implementing ‘in practice’ CPD options • Identify how practice tools can enhance In-Practice CPD and link to business sustainability. • Discuss ways that practice owners and managers can identify ways to reduce the burden of 'additional CPD’ and self-logging of group activities

Biography

Sharon is the CPD Engagement Manager for RACGP and specialises in connecting RACGP CPD to meaningful in-practice activities. These may be team based, software enabled or linked to the RACGP or its CPD Provider network. She works closely with practice groups, owners, managers and GPs ensuring their CPD is relevant for the whole practice. Based in Perth she coordinates practice-based initiatives, support and pathways across Australia through the local RACGP CPD teams in each state, ensuring simplified and meaningful CPD can be captured by individual GPs, on behalf of GPs by the practice or through the CPD providers.
