Dr Joe McTigue is a GP. His second passion of cryptography related software development lead to Co-Founding Silknote, a privacy and security focused AI Scribing platform. As a GP he is a representative to the National Primary and Acute Care Data Linkage Project. He has collected rewards for identifying and reporting active security vulnerabilities and is an advisor to the Critical Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (CI-ISAC) on the healthcare pilot that will inform cyber threat intelligence in the other 10 critical infrastructure sectors. Joe believes that enhanced data collection represents a great opportunity to improve patient care - but that payroll tax changes and expanded oversight by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner mean it also represents risk to Practice Ownership that can only be addressed by Owners collectively.
