This session will outline two case-studies that are frequently raised by practice owners and partners as areas that cause significant stress and create disharmony in partnerships and disruptions in practice culture. Case Study 1: Strategic Alignment of Partners: What happens when some partners wish to reinvest profits into improvements while others need immediate access to the profits? Case Study 2: Values Alignment in Partnerships: How can a positive culture be cultivated when partners hold fundamentally different business values?

Learning Outcomes: • Understanding the impact of misaligned business strategies on practices and partnerships. • Learning practical steps to build strategic alignment between partners. • Understand the impact to the practice when there is a values misalignment between partners. • How to identify values and assess where there is misalignment. • Developing self-awareness - how partners set the standard for everyone in the practice
