Presented by Healthengine (10min) Title: AI in Everyday Practice: Practical Applications to Reduce Admin and Improve Patient Care Outline: AI is no longer a future promise for general practice — it's here, and the practices adopting it now are already seeing real results. In this hands-on session, Healthengine CEO Dan Stinton will walk practice owners through practical AI applications they can deploy across the full patient journey, from discovery through to follow-up care. The session begins with how patients are increasingly finding healthcare providers — through AI-powered tools like ChatGPT and other frontier models rather than traditional search. Dan will cover what practice owners need to know about making their services discoverable in this new landscape, and how platforms like Healthengine are doing the heavy lifting through purpose-built integrations with the dominant large language models. Next, Dan will focus on front-office efficiency, including practical steps of how to use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, while keeping patient data private. He will then introduce Healthengine's AI receptionist, Helen, and demonstrate how it's reducing front desk burden by answering patient calls, handling queries, and making bookings autonomously - all private by design. Finally, Dan will preview Healthengine's forthcoming AI-powered patient follow-up capability, designed to proactively engage patients and ensure critical recall and reminder appointments aren't missed.
