Abstract

Biography

Greg Siller is a graduate of The University of Queensland Medical School and a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He holds an Adjunct Associate Professorship with the School of Medicine at the University of Queensland and is a senior visiting medical officer in the Department of Dermatology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He is practice principal of Central Brisbane Dermatology where he runs his private practice and has extensive experience in clinical trials with monoclonal antibodies and is currently working with genetically modified versions of adenovirus in the treatment of skin cancer. His other interests are in the assessment of allergic contact dermatitis and is one of the few private dermatologists who perform specialised allergy patch testing.Recently he was awarded a Presidential Citation for his services to the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr. Paul Campbell graduated with an Honours in Biochemistry in 1983 and again in Medicine in 1986 from the University of Glasgow. He was awarded a D. Phil (PhD) in Molecular Haematology from the University of Oxford in 1991, prior to moving to Australia. He was a Conjoint Senior Lecturer in Immunology with the University of New South Wales and a full member of the Australian Society for Clinical Immunology and Allergy, (ASCIA), the peak professional body for Immunology in Australia. He has published in a diverse range of fields, including schistosome membrane biophysics, gene cloning and characterisation, regulation of gene transcription, antigen presentation, and bioinformatics. He is a Consultant Pathologist for QML.

Dr Melita Cullen is a GP in Scarborough QLD and has a specific interest in paediatric medicine. Melita has recently completed further extended skills training in ADHD through Children's Health Queensland. She particularly enjoys developmental and complex paediatric care as well as supporting children who are gender diverse. Her other interests include allergy, immunology and chronic constipation.
