Dr Rachel Turner BSc (Hons) MBBS DCH DFSRH is an RACGP Academic GP Registrar at the University of Newcastle. She obtained her MBBS at UCL Medical School in the UK and moved to Australia to complete her GP training in 2014 and plans to fellow in 2019. She has completed a Diploma of Sexual & Reproductive Health from the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in UK. Her primary research interest is in women’s health, particularly contraception.

Dr Oliver Frank on three days per week is a GP at Hillcrest in Adelaide, and on two days per week is a University Senior Research Fellow in the Discipline of General Practice at the University of Adelaide. His interests are in prevention, clinical informatics, quality of care and health services.
He serves on a number of regional, State and national professional and government committees in his areas of interest.

Infection control in general practice waiting room: A Qualitative Study

Dr Sood is a new fellow with the RACGP & new to primary care research. She completed this study as an Academic GP Registrar, guided by experienced researcher Dr Michael Tam. She is now working as a regular GP at Myhealth Barangaroo in Sydney’s CBD. This will be her first presentation at an RACGP Conference and she promises to make this an engaging and interesting talk!

Helena Britt (BA, PhD General Practice), has 40 years in general practice research; published >250 paper & >40 books; was co-Chief Investigator of the BEACH program. In her retirement she remains Hon. Professor of Primary Care Research, University of Sydney, and continues her leadership role in development of ICPC version 3, in Wonca International Classification Committee.
